SUMMARY:
Prepare loan documents and aid other consumer and commercial loan processing staff to make the processing workflow most efficient and to ensure a quality product and positive customer experience; perform various tasks within the Loan Department as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare loan documents for unsecured loans and CD-secured loans Prepare loan documents for personal lines of credit and home equity lines of credit, as needed Prepare consumer loan early disclosures except for the Loan Estimate Compile loan disclosures and prepare for delivery Mail flood notices Print checks for loan proceeds and related fees Prepare and mail disclosures to customers based on loan type/terms.
Review loan requests, determine policy guidelines and verify approval.
Review legal documents to confirm Borrower, whether entity individual or legal entity.
Review legal documents to determine collateral position and determine what documents are required to perfect collateral.
Communicate with lending officer and/or assistant on loans you are processing for them.
Prepare loan documents in accordance with regulations and bank policy, review for accuracy for all types of loans.
Review Flood Determinations, mail flood notices, and review flood insurance.
Print checks for loan proceeds and related fees.

Effective verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Skilled in operation of listed tools and equipment.
Ability to obtain thorough knowledge of Bank policies as well as banking laws and regulations to ensure that all work is completed in an accurate and compliant manner.
Ability to coordinate and complete diverse tasks within stringent timeframes; mustpossess excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of RESPA, HMDA, REG Z and Federal Regulations.
Knowledge of Real Estate and other types of collateral and ability to process complex documentation/loans.
Proficient in use of loan software and no-loan software SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Availability for overnight travel as required.
