Summary/Objective
Responsible for underwriting, structuring, closing and servicing a loan portfolio.
The successful candidate shall accept walk‐in borrowers, referrals from other lenders and develop new business.

· Source, develop, underwrite, close and service commercial, consumer, real estate and small business loans · Develop and execute an aggressive plan to grow deposits · Coordinate or assist with marketing activities and events · Increase brand awareness for the company within the community · Assist with branch operational activities and responsibilities (if needed) · Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback · Resolve customer problems as needed · Open new accounts and assist with account‐related functions and responsibilities (if needed) · Comply with all applicable laws and regulations for the industry · Assess market conditions and identify opportunities · Adhere to high ethical and professional standards Competencies · Problem Solving/Analysis · Teamwork orientation · Financial management · Customer focused · Initiative · Time management · Communication proficiency · Technical capacity · Knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices including the use of office equipment · Detail oriented · Organized · Motivated · Understanding of cash flow analysis and the business operating cycle · Utilize professional judgment to determine which potential borrowers represent good credit risk opportunities for the Bank · Approving or rejecting loans and terms within officers’ limits and established Bank policies Supervisory Responsibility None Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, email, electronic calendars, scanning devices, calculators, and spreadsheets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full‐time position.
Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a one‐hour lunch break, but may change depending on staffing needs and workload.
This position may require occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out‐of‐area and overnight travel may be expected.
Preferred Education and Experience Experience in customer contact and problem resolution, management experience, ability to set and achieve goals, knowledge of industry rules and regulations, results‐driven attitude, leadership skills, strong customer service skills, written and oral communication skills, human resource management skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, computer skills, advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field OR minimum 5 years banking experience.
