The University of Louisiana Monroe invites applications for part-time faculty positions in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
The Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor holds a faculty appointment and has teaching, service, and scholarship responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the academic program and their rank.
Individuals will demonstrate competence in the assessment and management of cardiovascular and respiratory, neurological, musculoskeletal, or other systems conditions and diseases.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Developing, monitoring, and refining components of the curriculum.
Facilitating quality learning experiences for students based on best practices in teaching and learning science.
Evaluating students' performance, in cooperation with other faculty, to determine their ability to integrate didactic and clinical learning experiences and to progress within the curriculum.
Providing service to the DPT Program, College, University, and the profession.
Conducting research in their area of expertise or collaborating with faculty researchers within the program.
