Department: Social and Behavioral Sciences Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate level classes in introductory psychology and one or more of the following fields: counseling, psychometrics and assessment, abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, and/or seminar courses in the candidate's field of specialization.
Interest in working with students in a practicum setting and engaging students in undergraduate research is preferred.
Candidates will be expected to teach in person on the UAM campus; experience with online teaching and field experience in areas of specialization is highly desirable.
Qualifications: A doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program or a doctorate in a closely related field is preferred.
Applicants with a master's degree in Counseling and ABD doctoral candidates will be considered at the Instructor level.
