Heavy Truck Driver, Explosives

Overview: Operates heavy truck, typically with either semi-trailer or heavy duty trailer, to transport explosive and non-explosive materials or equipment.
Major Position Responsibilities: Maneuvers truck into loading or unloading position; safely perform or assist with loading/unloading activities.
Responsible for loading and unloading materials according to prescribed safety methods and observes safety regulations while in transit.
Retrieves supplies and materials; maintains inventory in production area; monitors inventory; cycle counts; clears production area; documents actions; maintains a safe work environment; keeps forklift operating; accomplishes warehousing and organization mission.
Responsible for performing truck inspections and recording results on appropriate form.
Notify Supervision when routine maintenance should be performed on truck.
Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and keeping work area clean and free of FOD.
Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent with some directly related truck driving experience.
Must have or able to obtain Class A CDL w/ DOT and HazMat endorsements.
Must be able to maintain Secret Security Clearance.
Prefer prior experience in a DoD facility.
